# Three guarantees on every number

Every SMS Hallo number comes with three guarantees: a free replacement within 7 days, a 100% refund if the number does not work with the app you rented it for, and a no-questions money-back within 7 days if the number has not been used. They exist because each app decides for itself which numbers it accepts, and you should not pay for a number that does not do its job.

## 1. 7-day free replacement

Within 7 days of renting a number, you can swap it for another available number in the same country, for free. You can do this up to 3 times. The new number keeps your plan and expiry date, so you lose nothing by switching.

Use the free replacement button in your dashboard. This is the quickest fix when an app does not send a code to a particular number: try another one in the same country.

## 2. Works, or 100% refund

If the number does not work with the app you rented it for, for example the verification code never arrives, request a refund within 7 days and you get 100% of what you paid.

This guarantee is tied to the purpose of the rental. Tell support which app you were trying to use and what happened, so the request can be handled quickly.

## 3. 7-day money-back

If you change your mind, you can get a full refund within 7 days, no questions asked, as long as no call or SMS has been made or received on the number.

This covers the case where you rented a number and then did not need it. Once the number has been used for any call or SMS, this guarantee no longer applies, but the first two may still do.

## What the guarantees do not promise

No provider can promise that a specific app will always accept a number, and SMS Hallo does not claim that. The guarantees are the honest answer: if it does not work, you can swap or get your money back within 7 days.

Keeping a number working long term is up to renewals. Renew for 1, 3, 6 or 12 months or use auto-renew, because after expiry a number may be given to someone else.
