# Turkish Telegram Number: Run a Separate +90 Account Without a Local SIM

A rented +90 mobile number from SMS Hallo lets you open a separate Telegram account for Turkish contacts without buying a local SIM. Enter it as +90 followed by ten digits, leaving out the leading 0, and read the code in your browser.

## Writing +90 numbers the way Telegram expects

Telegram wants the ten-digit national number after +90, never the trunk 0. Turkish mobiles are printed locally as 0501 234 56 78, with the zero needed only for calls made inside Turkey.

In the app, select Turkey from the country menu so the field shows +90, then enter 501 234 56 78. Telegram's FAQ describes this international layout: country code, then the operator or area code, then your own digits. Stored without spaces the same number reads +905012345678.

Typing 0501 after +90 sends eleven digits and the request goes nowhere; after the country code, the number should start with 5.

## One app, several identities

Telegram's blog says one app supports up to three accounts with different numbers, which is why a Turkish number is useful even if you already have Telegram.

Think of an importer talking to suppliers in Istanbul, a tour guide keeping guest chats away from family groups, or a student leaving Ankara who wants to keep friends. Each gets a +90 profile with its own name and chats. Our [online selling use case](https://smshallo.com/use-cases/online-selling) covers the business angle.

## From rental to first message in five steps

1. Create an SMS Hallo account with an email and a password. 2. Choose a Turkish mobile number and pay in USDT or USDC. 3. In Telegram, tap Add Account, or install the app fresh, and enter +90 with the ten digits. 4. Watch the inbox for the SMS and use one-tap copy. 5. Set a password under two-step verification before you start chatting.

Telegram's developer documentation shows a code can also come by phone call or as an in-app message to another session.

## Where a Turkish number will not help

No provider controls Telegram's checks, so SMS Hallo backs its numbers with refunds rather than promises. Telegram also notes it does not support landline numbers.

A number is not a license to message strangers in bulk; Telegram's spam FAQ says reported accounts can be limited. Rented numbers must not be used for fake or bulk accounts, for coming back after a ban, or to get past identity checks.

## Keeping the +90 account alive

Telegram's FAQ warns that without the connected number you risk losing the account, and an expired rental may pass to someone else.

Renew for 1, 3, 6 or 12 months at a time, or let the [auto-renew feature](https://smshallo.com/features/auto-renew-and-keeping-your-number) handle it.

## Availability, cost and guarantees

We list 36 Turkish numbers at the moment. Each costs from $1.80/month on the 12-month plan ($21.60 billed yearly) and includes unlimited incoming SMS and calls, 500 outgoing SMS and 1,000 outgoing minutes per month.

Every rental comes with three guarantees. 7-day free replacement: swap for another available number in the same country, free, up to 3 times, and the new number keeps the plan and expiry date. Works or 100% refund: if the number doesn't work with the app it was rented for (for example, the code never arrives), request within 7 days and get 100% of what was paid. 7-day money-back: a full refund within 7 days, no questions asked, if no call or SMS has been made or received on the number.

## Turkey: phone number format

- Mobile number example: +90 501 234 56 78
- Digits after +90: 10

## If the code doesn't arrive

Wait for the timer and request the code again, or choose the voice-call option. If the number still doesn't work with Telegram, replace it free with another +90 number within 7 days, or get a 100% refund.

## Frequently asked questions

**

### Should I include the 0 when I enter a Turkish number in Telegram?

**

No. The 0 is only for dialing inside Turkey. After choosing +90, enter the ten digits that start with 5, for example 501 234 56 78. Adding the 0 makes the number too long and Telegram cannot send a code to it.

**

### Can I run my Turkish account next to my existing one?

**

Yes. Telegram's blog says the app accepts up to three accounts with different phone numbers and lets you switch from the side menu. The +90 account keeps its own chats, contacts, name and photo, completely separate from your main account, and you can log out of it without touching the other.

**

### Do I need to be in Turkey to use a +90 Telegram number?

**

No. The number sits in your SMS Hallo dashboard, so you read the code in a browser from any country. You never need a Turkish SIM card, ID document or local address to rent it, only an email and a password.

**

### What happens if my account gets limited for spam?

**

That is Telegram's decision, based on user reports, and it is not covered by the number. Telegram's spam FAQ says limited accounts can still message people who saved their number and reply to anyone who writes first, and you can contact its @SpamBot if you think the limit was a mistake.

**

### Can the same Turkish number be used for other apps?

**

Yes, one rented number can receive codes from other services too, such as WhatsApp or Google, and there is no limit on incoming SMS. No app is promised to accept it, which is why the replacement and refund guarantees exist.
