Security at SMS Hallo
SMS Hallo protects accounts and messages with HTTPS on every page, hashed passwords, private inboxes that only the renter can see, bot protection on sign-up and login, and payments made on public blockchains rather than with stored card details. This page explains each measure in plain terms and what you can do to keep your account safe.
Encrypted connections
The whole website and dashboard are served over HTTPS. That means the connection between your browser and SMS Hallo is encrypted, so your password, messages and codes are not sent in plain text over the internet.

Passwords are hashed
Account passwords are stored as hashes, not in readable form. A hash is a one-way transformation: it lets the system check a password you type without keeping the password itself.
Sign-up needs only an email and a password. We do not ask for a SIM card, ID documents or a local address, so there is less personal data to protect in the first place.
Private inboxes
While you rent a number, only you can see its messages. SMS Hallo is not a free public receive-SMS website, and inboxes are never published.
After a number expires, it may be given to someone else. To keep codes out of other hands, renew numbers linked to important accounts, or move those accounts to another number before you let it go.
Bot protection
Sign-up and login are protected against automated abuse such as scripted account creation and repeated password guessing. This helps keep the service reliable and protects your account from brute-force attempts.
Payments on the blockchain
Payments are made in USDT or USDC stablecoins on Tron, BNB Chain, Polygon, Base or Solana. You send funds from your own wallet to the address shown in the payment window, so SMS Hallo never collects or stores bank card numbers.
Each payment window shows the exact amount, address and network, with a 10-minute countdown. Only send the exact amount on the network shown.
What you can do
Use a strong, unique password for your SMS Hallo account and do not reuse it elsewhere. Never share verification codes with anyone who contacts you asking for them; genuine services do not need your codes.
