Saudi Telegram Number: A Private +966 Mobile for Sign-Up or a Number Change

SMS Hallo rents private Saudi +966 mobile numbers you can use to create a Telegram account or move an existing one with Change Number. Enter +966 and the nine digits that begin with 5, without the 0, and the code arrives in your online inbox.

The 05 trap

Saudi mobile numbers are written locally as 051 234 5678 or 05x, and that leading 0 must not reach Telegram. It is a trunk prefix for domestic calls.

Select Saudi Arabia (+966) and type the nine digits 51 234 5678. In full international form that is +966 51 234 5678, stored as +966512345678. The Telegram FAQ asks for this layout: plus sign, country code, operator code, then your digits.

A quick check: after +966 the number should start with 5 and contain nine digits in total. If it starts with 0, remove it.

Moving an account onto a Saudi number

Telegram lets you swap the number behind an account without losing chats. According to its FAQ, Change Number is reached by tapping your number in Settings, and your cloud messages, contacts and media move with you.

This helps when you leave the Kingdom, return a work SIM or retire a personal number. One catch from the FAQ: an account already on the target number must be deleted first, which a fresh rental rarely has.

Contacts in Riyadh, Jeddah or Dammam can then keep writing to the same account wherever you are.

Hiding the number from groups and strangers

Set phone number visibility to Nobody as soon as the account is ready. The Telegram FAQ says your number is shown by default only to people who saved you as a contact, and the setting sits under Settings > Privacy and Security > Phone Number.

A second option introduced in 2019, Who Can Find Me By My Number, can be set to My Contacts so random people who save your number cannot link it to your profile. Our guide to a second phone number for privacy explains why this split matters beyond Telegram.

Where the code and calls appear

Every SMS to the number lands in the SMS Hallo dashboard, where codes are copied with one tap; calls appear in the call log.

Telegram's developer documentation also lists in-app messages and login email, so read the screen to see where the code went.

What a rented number cannot do

Nobody outside Telegram controls whether a code is sent, so no single number is promised to work.

The number is yours only while the rental runs, and Telegram warns that losing it can lock you out, so renew. Our rules also forbid using it to get past identity or security checks, to come back after a ban or to mass-create fake accounts.

Pricing and guarantees for Saudi numbers

SMS Hallo has 34 Saudi numbers listed today. Plans start from $1.80/month on the 12-month plan ($21.60 billed yearly), with no setup fee.

Every rental comes with three guarantees. 7-day free replacement: swap for another available number in the same country, free, up to 3 times, and the new number keeps the plan and expiry date. Works or 100% refund: if the number doesn't work with the app it was rented for (for example, the code never arrives), request within 7 days and get 100% of what was paid. 7-day money-back: a full refund within 7 days, no questions asked, if no call or SMS has been made or received on the number.

If the code doesn't arrive

Wait for the timer and request the code again, or choose the voice-call option. If the number still doesn't work with Telegram, replace it free with another +966 number within 7 days, or get a 100% refund.

Frequently asked questions

How do I enter a Saudi number in Telegram?

Choose +966 in the country list, then type the nine digits that start with 5, such as 51 234 5678. Leave out the leading 0 that Saudi numbers carry in local format. With the 0 included, the number is too long and Telegram will not send a code.

Can I move my current Telegram account to a +966 number?

Yes. Telegram's FAQ explains that you can change the number in Settings and keep your cloud chats, contacts and media. If another Telegram account already exists on the new number, that account must be deleted first, which is unusual for a freshly rented number.

Will my Saudi number be visible in groups?

Only to people your settings allow. By default Telegram shows your number to people who saved you as a contact, and group members can find you by username instead. Set phone number visibility to Nobody, and set Who Can Find Me By My Number to My Contacts for extra privacy.

Can I use the Saudi number from outside Saudi Arabia?

Yes. The inbox, dialer and call log run in your browser, so you can read Telegram codes from anywhere. No Saudi SIM card, ID document or local address is required, just an email and a password, and payment is made in USDT or USDC stablecoins.

What if Telegram rejects the number?

Swap it for another listed Saudi number free, up to 3 times within 7 days. If the number does not work with Telegram, request the Works or 100% refund within 7 days and you get back everything you paid. Telegram, not SMS Hallo, decides whether a code is sent.
