Philippine WhatsApp number for work, family and freelancing
SMS Hallo rents real Philippine mobile numbers that you register on WhatsApp by entering +63 and the 10 digits that follow the 0 of the local 09xx format. The code appears in a private web inbox, which makes the number handy for freelancers, overseas workers and anyone keeping clients away from a personal SIM.
Who a second Philippine number is for
Remote workers come first. Filipino virtual assistants, designers and support staff often give clients a WhatsApp contact, and a separate number keeps late-night client pings out of family group chats. Our page for freelancers and remote workers shows the setup.
Overseas Filipino workers want the opposite: a +63 number they control online, so parents, schools and agencies at home reach them on a familiar code while the SIM in their phone belongs to a carrier in the Gulf or Europe. Companies hiring teams in Manila or Cebu use one for the same reason.
From 0905 to +63 905: getting the format right
Philippine mobiles are written locally as 0905 123 4567, eleven digits with the trunk 0 in front. WhatsApp's help center tells users to start with a plus sign, add the country code and remove leading zeros, giving +63 905 123 4567, or +639051234567 with no spaces.
Count exactly 10 digits after 63; for mobiles like this example they begin with 9. If the screen shows +63 0905, delete that 0 before tapping Next. WhatsApp's troubleshooting advice also suggests texting the number exactly as entered, country code included, to check reception.
Registration rests on a 6-digit code sent by SMS, with an automated call as the fallback. On SMS Hallo the text lands in the inbox for your +63 number and one tap copies the digits. Every number includes unlimited incoming SMS and calls, so both delivery routes WhatsApp offers are open.
Where a rented number falls short
Acceptance is WhatsApp's decision. It lists VoIP, toll-free, premium, universal access and personal numbers as unsupported, and it uses one phone number per account at a time. A real mobile number is a better start than a shared receive-SMS site, but it is not a promise for any single app.
Keep e-wallets, banks and government services on your registered SIM. SMS Hallo numbers must not be used to pass KYC or security checks, return to a platform after a ban or create fake or bulk accounts, as our acceptable use policy explains.
Cost, listed numbers and refund terms
There are 36 Philippine numbers listed on SMS Hallo at the moment. Plans start from $1.80 per month on the 12-month plan, $21.60 billed yearly, the same price in all 181 countries. You pay with USDT or USDC; no ID, SIM or local address is needed.
Every number comes with three guarantees. First, a 7-day free replacement: you can swap it for another available number in the same country, free, up to 3 times, and the new number keeps your plan and expiry date. Second, works or 100% refund: if the number doesn't work with the app you rented it for, for example the code never arrives, request a refund within 7 days and get 100% of what you paid. Third, a 7-day money-back guarantee: a full refund within 7 days, no questions asked, if no call or SMS has been made or received on the number.

Frequently asked questions
How many digits does a Philippine WhatsApp number have?
In international format it is +63 followed by 10 digits, for example +63 905 123 4567. Locally it is written 0905 123 4567, which is 11 digits. WhatsApp wants the international version with the 0 removed, so count 10 digits after the country code before requesting the code.
I am an OFW abroad. Can I still receive the code on a Philippine number?
Yes. The SMS Hallo number is not tied to a SIM in your phone, so the code reaches your online inbox wherever you work. WhatsApp's travel help page notes that people abroad can struggle to get codes on a home SIM without roaming and suggests a number that can actually receive the SMS or call.
Can I move the account to my own SIM later?
Yes. WhatsApp's Change number feature in Settings, Account moves the account and asks for both numbers in full international format. Make a new backup afterwards, because WhatsApp links cloud backups to the number used when they were created, so older backups made on the previous number cannot restore your chats.
What if the code never comes through?
Check that the 0 is gone, wait for the full timer and try the Call me option. If the code still does not arrive for the app you rented the number for, ask for a refund within 7 days under the works-or-100%-refund guarantee, or swap the number for free in the first 7 days.
How do I keep the number long term?
Renew it for 1, 3, 6 or 12 months at a time, or turn on auto-renew. An expired number may be rented to someone else, so renew early when client relationships depend on it, and add WhatsApp's optional two-step verification for an extra password.
